About Us
A place of fellowship & fun.
Mary B Summer Camp is an annual summer camp for girls and young women: the chance to build new skills, make lifelong friends, and discover what they're capable of across ten nights in the great outdoors.
We welcome girls aged 9 and over, placed into mixed-age tent groups led by an experienced tent officer (up to age 21). Tent officers are trained, DBS-checked volunteers. Every day brings a range of inter-tent activities and friendly challenges, all rounded off with the fellowship and fun that has made camp so special since 1946.

Everything you need to know about this year's camp, getting there, and staying in touch.
Camp Dates
Monday 3rd – Thursday 13th August 2026
Ten nights under canvas at our field in Northumberland.
Visitors Day
Saturday 8th August, 1–5pm
Family & friends are warmly invited, so bring a picnic to enjoy with the girls on the field. Visiting at other times is discouraged as it disrupts the camp routine. Please observe our no alcohol / no smoking policy; dogs are not allowed on the field at any time.
Transport
A coach will leave from Sunderland at 1.30pm on Monday 3rd August, and return there at around 11.45am on Thursday 13th August. Pick up information will be sent via email closer to camp. All campers must bring their kit with them on the coach.
Anyone unable to travel by coach must inform us in advance, and will be responsible for making their own transport arrangements.

Mary B Summer Camp is a registered charity run by a Board of Trustees and a team of experienced volunteers.
A trusted part of summer for generations, at our current site since 1966.
All our volunteers hold DBS certification and are safeguarding trained.
Event cover insurance is in place with Ansvar Insurance (documentation on request).
Charity Commission for England & Wales, registered number 1180009.
Registration & Fees
Book a place for 2026
Places are secured with a £50 deposit and confirmed once fees are paid in full. Payment details are provided on the registration form.
Scan the QR code on our leaflet, or email us and we'll send you one. Payment details are on the form.
A £50 deposit is required by 30th April 2026 to hold your daughter's place.
The remaining fees must be paid in full by 27th June 2026.

Please note
- No camp beds.
- Girls are responsible for their own property: all kit should be clearly named. Clean clothes can be brought up on Visitors Day.
- Waterproofs & wellies are often a daily requirement!
- Campers may bring their mobile phone, but signal on the field is poor and there are limited charging opportunities.
- We advise against bringing any other gadgets (such as iPads).
